shopping in st kitts

Just found out that things may close early in St. Thomas on Sundays :( , we will be in St Kitts on Monday. How is the shopping there compared to St. Thomas? My daughter, age 23 & I like to shop for the usual, clothes, perfume, crystal & table linens. Is it within walking distance from the ship? :) Thanks for any help.
