reef snorkeling

Are there any private excursion people waiting at the pier that take tourists specifically to the reefs for snorkeling? Or would you have to book something like this directly from your ship? Anyone know?

You will have several chances to book at the pier. We have docked and tendered at every spot available on Coz and there are always tours available.

 

If you want to make a day of loafing you might try Playa Palancar.. It is about a $20 (@ way) taxi ride to their beach. Lots of sand, chairs, hammocks, drinks and food and they offer a boat trip to Palancar Reef. Makes for a lazy day.
