45014 Posted January 26, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2008 I beg to differ. We thought they were inedible and looked like nothing I have ever seen before.
Peaceful Posted January 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2008 I beg to differ. We thought they were inedible and looked like nothing I have ever seen before. Which only goes to prove that we are a diverse group of people with varying experiences. For us, they were a treat and delicious. At the time, I was Food & Beverage director of a private country club, so had seen and tasted "good" ones before. Guess like so many other things, it depends on the one doing the preparation. I've seend the pictures but couldn't figure out exactly what they were:) Carnival's Canape trays are served with cream cheese on French bread, truffle pate on white bread, sliced boiled egg on French bread, salmon mousse on white bread and last but not least, ham served on sliced white bread.
