Spilly30 Posted February 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2008 I am cruising on Pride of Aloha in 3 weeks and I was wondering if anyone knew the price of laundry on the ship? My whole vacation is 15 days, so I didnt know if it would be cheaper to do laundry or just buy clothing.
pyrogy Posted February 1, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2008 Each ship may very well be different so I don't want to get your hopes up but on the Jewel the laundry is completely free (for self-serve). You do need to pay for the soap or else bring your own. (a good quality zip lock bag with some powder in it will do the trick, or any tupperware type container with a good lid -- you don't want laundry soap in your luggage!) Hopefully someone here can tell you for sure about your ship.
electricron Posted February 1, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2008 The Pride of Aloha and Pride of America don't have any self service laundry. Instead, they provide valet services from the ship's laundry. Here's an NCL Valet Service order form

jetskier Posted February 1, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 1, 2008 On NCL ships (not sure about NCLA), they do offer a laundry special for $20. It is all you can stuff in the laundry bag and it just a wash and fold. On our 15 day cruise, they offered it twice. If I would have done just the regular turn in, it would have been over $60.
