C-worthy Posted May 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 1, 2004 My husband and I are considering a Hawaiian cruise aboard Carnival (12 day cruise) Has anyone sailed on Carnival to Hawaii? And if so, what is the age group? We have heard that Carnival caters to the "young" crowd, but we're thinking that the "young" crowd, don't ordinarily go for a 12 day cruise. Are we right? Will there be some retirees aboard, and if so, has there been any feedback from prior cruises? Barbie
GottaLuvCruising Posted May 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2004 Barbie, I'm so surprised that you haven't had a response yet! We just returned from the Spirit / Hawaii sailing and had a wonderful time. I'd guess that the average age on our sailing was mid-fifties. The majority of guests were retired. There were some families and some newlyweds, but far fewer than typical Caribbean sailings. MFH Posted May 18, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2004 We were on the 4/18 sailing and found the age groups to be the same as Janet did. The majority of the people seemed to be mid to late 50's. There were also young families, and older folks as well. We found this the easiest cruise we have been on to meet people. It seemed like everyone was friendly and relaxed.
