Schplinky Posted February 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Hi there, We are going on Century in April for a 4-night sailing. Because we are Diamond in the Crown and Anchor program, we will receive Elite Captain's Club benefits. I'm wondering if all of the benefits are available on shorter cruises? Will they still have the wine blending, behind the scenes tour and officer's party?
bububr Posted February 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2008 On our 4 nighter we had the following: Elegant Tea Chardonnay blending Captains Club party There was no Senior officers Party. And I did not notice any behind the scenes tours, although we were invited to tour the bridge. Dave:eek:
Schplinky Posted February 4, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Thanks. I also meant to ask if the worth of the coupon book you receive increases with memberhsip level. For instance, on RCL the Gold folks get a coffee drink for 25% off, the Platinum get 50% and the Diamond get a free specialty coffee.

You have to buy something overpriced to get something. The other exception is the laundry which HELPS during longer cruises for underware and small items. Hope that you find this information useful, we don't really find the coupons useful at all. Dave:eek:

Schplinky Posted February 4, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted February 4, 2008 What is the free suite bingo? PLEASE explain - thanks They do that on RCL also so I'm guessing this is a bingo game held v early in the cruise where the winner gets moved to the best available suite. They do it only when they haven't been able to sell it at the pier.

Schplinky Posted February 4, 2008 Author #8 Share Posted February 4, 2008 On HAL they play for a free Carribean cruise for two. Yes, they normally have both games but they only do the upgrade if one is available. It seems more and more rare.
