Is it my computer or is this site slower than being onboard?

I've just returned from a cruise and I find logging onto cruisecritic, posting and previewing posts is frustrating. Is anyone else having this problem or is my computer sick?

I haven't spent this much time looking at spinning icons since ship-board non-connections.

Does anyone think having thousands of post that date back to April, 2004 may have something to do with this problem?

Arno, I'm not referring to the number of your post, but to all the post made by everyone that have been saved for almost 4 years.

Good question Dale and I hope that if the problem lies with the server that if this website undergoes upgrades we won't lose all the threads!!!

Would be a shame.
