Cigar smoking on the Century

Does Michael's Club still allow cigar smoking? We were told it is now a piano bar and cigar smoking is not allowed. If this is the case, where can one smoke cigars on the Century?

There will be one or two outdoor spots listed in the daily program where cigar smoking is allowed. Not allowed in any indoor areas, staterooms or verandas.

No cigars in Michaels. Yes, it is a very refined piano bar. Just back, and unfortunately didn't spend as much time there as I would have liked.

 

There is a display of cigars for sale set up all the way aft on Deck 11 in the area of the Sushi Bar. So I'm assuming that they want you to smoke them port side of the Sunset Bar. I only saw one gent smoking a cigar and it was late in the evening sitting at a table alongside the very deserted swimming pool on 11. I'm sure there are other areas available to you too. Casino perhaps, Pool and Mast Bars, and there are some outside tables on Deck 12 forward near Hemisphere's Disco where you certainly wouldn't have a problem.

When we were on the Century, back in '02, Michael's was still a cigar bar, and was filled each night. (see below)Now, cigar smoking is limited to the outer decks.
