Connecting Rooms on Crown?

Recommended Posts

We have just booked our first "adults only" vacation since having kids (DD is 4 and DS is almost 2). Even better, our dear friends have booked as well and we are cruising on the Crown. We have balcony staterooms on the Baja deck (forgot room numbers...) that are next door to each other. Does anyone know if rooms on the Crown have connector doors?

The only bad thing? We have to wait until next Feb!!!

I don't think the Crown has any connecting cabins. However, you can have the door between your balconies opened so that you can go back and forth that way without having to go into the corridor.

There are some Princess ships that have connecting cabins but even then, there aren't many.

We sailed the Crown in August of 2007 with a group and had 4 rooms in a row. We were able to have the room steward open the divider between the rooms on the balconies so that gave us a big area to hang out on and we could easily go between rooms.

Only the Island/Coral/Sapphire/Diamond have a limited number of actual conecting rooms. :)

On the majority of the ships balconies as stated you can have "Stewart" open the small partition door outside. ;)

We cruised the Crown last November and had six cabins on the Caribe deck. We opened all our balcony partitions and easily walked from cabin to cabin via the balcony. We were so excited that we didn't even wait for the cabin steward to open the doors. We had a McGyver in our group and he opened them for us!!

You would be suprised how many people you can fit on one cabin balcony on the Caribe deck.
