Windstar - Costa Rica

We're booked on Windstar for the Costa Rica cruise sailing March 29. I've heard that Windstar was bought by the same outfit that owns Delta Queen, and the standards on Windstar have gone down (e.g., poor quality of food, less staff, etc.) I also heard that the Windstar was revamped last Fall. Has anyone sailed on Windstar recently and can give me their opinion? I understand the cabins are very small. Also, if you have been to Costa Rica on Windstar can you give me some tips on tours such as are they worth taking through Windstar. I heard that they are very expensive.

Have sailed on Windstar cruises (Wind Song and Wind Surf) both when it was part of HAL and then last October/November (Wind Surf) under its new ownership.

I did not see any differences. The crew were the same. Everything was the same.

We were in the Med not Costa Rica but I believe, if you like small ships, it is still excellent value for money and an amazing cruising experience.
