Question for all you travel agents

With all the hurricanes in Florida and the Caribbean, have bookings slowed for next summer as compared to past years? I am hoping that prices will drop if bookings aren't brisk now.

Have you noticed a decrease in Celebrity sales? I don't get too many "deals" sent over on the internet any more, it's all the lines but Celebrity.

I would think the demand for cruises next year will be very great. There are thousands of people with 50% off certificates they have picked up the last couple of months and must use next year.:)

Actually Celebrity is having a banner year for sales....and prices are going higher and higher....especially for Alaska next year and Europe.

[color=#0000ff] Our TA explained that they are a 10% agency and that they're a key account for Celebrity and Royal Caribbean. They are agents from Cruise Only, the biggest cruise agent out there. This is why they can offer at such lower prices.[/color]

Maybe they are in the top 10%.
Our agency is a key account, as well. There are only a few agencies out there that have special pricing because of that.
