Green Monkeys - What Beach?

I've heard that the green monkeys hang around on some beaches? Anyone know which beach(es)?

We saw lots of monkeys on our way to Cockleshell beach.

We were in St. Kitts 2 weeks ago and saw lots of wild monkeys. In the on our tour in the jungle/forest also on our drive to Cockleshell. Keep your eyes open & you'll see them. I did not see any monkeys in town except for this one beautiful "tame" baby Green Monkey. The ten minutes spent holding the monkey was her favorite thing about our entire ten day trip! :)

 

Our tour guide told me monkeys out number humans 3 to 1 on the island.

That is the cutest little monkey. Where did you see him? I'd love to have the opportunity to hold one!

Hey Aeronan,

 

We all took turns holding this little guy in St. Kitts. We were on a island tour w/Royston. The monkey was a 6 month old male Green Monkey named Tommy. He was quite a cute lil guy! We stopped just outside town of Bassterre, this guy living there had raised him from near birth.

they are at turtle beach.

but,,, the place is being refurbished, & don't know how long this will take (if you want a bar) but you can still go & sit on the beach.

We saw tons of monkeys at Shipwreck beach in South Frigate. It's a small beach, but very clean and peaceful.
