Time for Crane Beach?

We will have from 11:30 - 5:00 ship departure time to visit Crane Beach. Will we have enough time to get there, have beach time and make it back to the ship by 4:30? We are doing the Zipline in the morning.:)

 

Is a taxi the best bet? Can we get a taxi back to the ship from Crane Beach?

Not much of a "day" you got there!

 

Sounds to me like you'll be cutting it a bit fine, to be honest!

 

Am I to understand you don't get off the ship til 11:30:confused:

- or are you done ZipLine-ing by about 11:30:confused:

 

Whatever... it's going to be about 20 mins. from Port to ZipLine location,

assuming your taxi-driver knows where that is.

It's also going to be about 45 mins. to an hour crossing the island's twisty-turny road network

(no straight lines,here!) from ZipLine location to The Crane...

so put that into your clockwork calculations,for starters.

 

 

To taxi or not to taxi? There's no question about that one..:D

and I'd certainly have him wait while you're at ZipLine

but how long is that going to take? an hour? -more?

-while his meter's running(no,they don't use meters here but...)

 

Yes..if/when you get to the Crane

and you're done beaching it there

and you've had your Bds.$25 day rate fee back from the bar/restaurant

you can indeed catch a cab back to the ship,that should be no problem

but I see you getting to Crane around 2 p.m.? which is okay I guess..

Still can't get over the 11:30 thing.

Sure would help if your ship pulls away from the dock at 6 sharp

and they want you back by 5 -to be safe

-that would ease time constraints a good bit.
