Leaving Time

When the itinerary says the ship departs a port at 4pm... does that mean that's when the ship leaves, or does that mean that's the time you have to be back on board?

 

Just trying to plan an excursion accordingly.

That is the time the ship is due to leave the port. Usually passengers must be back on board 30 minutes prior to that time.
