Cruisecal is no longer for free

Just found this thread on the Carnival board:

that Cruisecal is no longer free of charge. It is now subscription based, $24.99 a year (oe $3. a month).

 

Shame, it was a fun site to look at. Don't know if I would pay for such a service (it is always difficult to get people to pay for something that they had hor free!), it was a nice to have but the info (be it spread over a number of web site - i.e. Ports) is readiuly available on the Internet.

I saw that yesterday. I was really susprised. It was easy to get the information using the site, now it will take a little more research. Why would someone pay for that information, I can't imagine they will make money.

I like the FREE info on cruiseclues

Cruisecal info hasnt always been correct. I cant see paying for the info. Maybe OCD cruisers will pay- no, wait - they probably prefer checking things out themselves :D
