Wine at Harwich?

Does anyone know if there is a wine shop near the pier at Harwich? Duty Free?

Hi there.

 

Unfortunately, Harwich port is not that well equipped with shopping facilities. However, if you are arriving by car there are two supermarkets quite close, situated just off the A120 with an access road to the cruise terminal. Google maps is quite useful for getting your bearings! One is a Morrison's the other a Lidl the latter I believe only takes cash. The stores are not Duty Free but should have quite competitive prices although we pay quite high taxes on drinks in the UK and they have just been put up in the recent budget. I hope that is of some help.
