What do people wear on Mediterranean cruises?

Has anyone done a repositioning cruise? We are leaving Ft. Lauderale on Apr. 28 and the crossing is nine days before our first stop in Gibraltar. Just wondering what to expect weather wise during the crossing. After Gibraltar, we will be in Spain and France before we start the Med. portion of the cruise.

We did the same itinerary (except Alicante instead of Cartagena) on the Crown Princess (I know this year, it's the Ruby) on April 28th this past year. It was sunny and pleasant the entire cruise. Just a light sweater or jacket in the early morning and evening, but peeled them off during the day. We watched MUTS at least three times. And we've lived in South Florida for over 30 years, so we're sensitive to cold. Florence and Rome were in the low 80's.
