Raine1306 Posted October 1, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 1, 2004 I am thinking of cruising from Phila. to Bermuda on 4/24/05. Has anyone been there during this time of the year? How was the weather? Were you able to swim in the ocean, enjoy boat rides, etc.? If not, do you know when the weather and water warms up enough to enjoy it better? Thanks! Ocean Boy Posted October 1, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 1, 2004 We were there for the end of April. I thought it was the perfect time to go. It was warm enough so you could enjoy the beach but not too warm to make sightseeing uncomfortable. As far as the water temperature goes. It was about as warm as it ever gets here in souther New England so I thought it was fine. Obviously it gets much warmer as the season goes on. But then, so does the air temperature making sightseeing not so pleasant.
Host Kewlguy Posted October 4, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 4, 2004 We were there late April 04 and loved the swimming. Weather was fine. Not too hot. We liked it so much we are going back 4/05.
darkangel_55 Posted March 12, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2005 My boyfriend and I are cruising from Philly to Bermuda on NCL Crown on 4/24/05. From what I have read the temps are about 70ish. I hope they are right. It is our first cruise, and I can't wait to go to Bermuda!!!:D
Susan-M Posted March 12, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2005 This is a good site for Bermuda weather: http://www.weather.bm/ It gives both air and water temperatures. Click on "Climate Data" and you can see what April air and water temperatures have been in previous years. In the past 3 years, water temps have reached a max of 70 to 73F in April.
