Fuel Supplement to $8 Per Day Effective 5/1/08

Hi Everyone !

 

Azamara, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity have raised the fuel supplement to $8 per person per day effective 5/1/08. The limit will be $112 per person for each cruise for first and second guests. Each additional person in the cabin above 2, will be $3 per day, with a maximum of $42 per person.

 

While I know this isnt good news, you can thank $120 per barrel Oil for this.

 

On the positive side, you can still book now, and pay the current surcharge rate through 4/30, as the higher surcharge doesnt take effect until 5/1. This is a much better (and fair) way of doing it, as opposed to last time around, when everyone went bonkers over it :)
