Snorkeling in Puerto Vallarta with Los Veranos

Just thought about snorkeling in PV with Los Veranos Company. anyone done it with kids 9 and 11? Looks great on their website.

snorkeling in PV is not very good. the water is murky, there is good snorkeling in cabo, but it can be rough, your kids should have snorkel vests.

Actually the snorkeling in Vallarta can be excellent, it all depends on the water clarity and where you are snorkeling at. We have excellent diving here as well.

 

I have snorkeled all over the Carribbean and Mexico, and Vallarta rates right up there, but I also knew where and when to go. Marietas is excellent, but since it is at the mouth of the bay (which is HUGE) it may not always be as calm as other places like Los Arcos or Majahuitas.

 

Los Arcos can be a little murkey especially when all the tour boats are there and people are stirring up the water. Right after they leave, or before they come, the water clarity is usually excellent! I have photos of the fish if anyone wants to see what I am talking about...:)

 

Mother Nature does not always cooperate! :)
