G.M.T. Posted April 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2008 With the recent introduction of the Fuel Surcharge and increasing monthly, (also I think here to stay) what about the recent global rises in food stuff. Will Costa be the first to introduce a FOOD SURCHARGE or even reduce the portions or the passengers will have to line up for the soup kitchen like in the great depression of the 1930s??? Who know! Some ideas to keep the hunger at bay: - Instead of smuggeling booze, smuggel food - Instead of a hair dryer take a microwave oven (DW can always use that to dry her hair) - Have relations send CARE packages to each port of call addressed to your self - Try to persuade Costa to introduce a X1 card for "All You Can Eat" - Have the Coast Guard drop USAID sacks of foodstuff - Get Costa to have Grassy Areas (like RCCI will have on their new ships) then turn them into vegetable gardens - Use the swimming pools for fish farming - Anyone who puts on weight on a Costa cruise cannot claim the 5th. Amendment at their trial - The real reason why there is only ONE Costa ship in the Caribbean next winter, there is only enough food for ONE ship.    - 4 hungry faces. Have a grate cruise (this is not a spelling mistake but intended to spur you on to find some Parmesan to slice and "grate") Ron:rolleyes:
