Back to HAL

Recommended Posts

After a few years and many cruises, I have booked the 1/11/09 Southern Caribbean on the Westerdam. we always loved HAL, but the prices were too appealing on other lines. HAL has come down in price.

Has the service come down also?

We love the happy hour before dinner, high tea, food, buffet by the pool and the overall service.

There used to be activities to earn stamps to redeem for merchanise - do they still have this?

I appreciate the feedback

Yes, these activities - called "Sports of Call Program" - are still held. I was on Ryndam last week. You can redeem your dam dollars as follows:

7 dam dollars - Mug

10 dam dollars - Water Bottle

15 dam dollars - Hat

20 dam dollars - T-shirt

25 dam dollars - Towel

30 dam dollars - Sweatshirt

Have fun!

Donald.

You are probably thinking back to the Passport for Fitness Program. HAL stopped that years ago but has a 'slimmed down' version with the 'dam dollar' activities referenced above.
