blendedmemory Posted May 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2008 Is this a good room selection? It's the upgrade we were given to BA category from.... I want to say, BE? This whole process is new to me. I know Caribe has the bigger balconies, but what about the room itself? Thanks!
cdnguy Posted May 17, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2008 Yes that's fine. I'd be happy with that upgrade. BE is almost at the front of the ship where you might feel more ship movement. Where you are now is close to the centre, between the rear and centre elevators. We cruised in C312 in Australia/NZ and we also thought that was a good location. shuksan7 Posted May 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2008 Hi- I just sailed Sapphire's near-twin Diamond and had C-704. My observations: 1. The location seemed nearly ideal. You're a couple of decks above the main public spaces on the Promenade deck and a couple of decks below the Lido deck with the (all-important) buffet, plus outside deck space and pools. Plus you'll be more midship. Very convenient!! 2. These staterooms are small with hardly any drawer space and a tiny shower. We didn't mind for a 3-night repo. 3. The balcony was quite nice. I kind of liked the half-covered, half-open quality that is so controversial. However, the weather was bad and there were not many people using their balconies. Enjoy!
