Thrifty Car rental shuttle- airport- mia cruiseport?

Anybody know if Thrifty has a free shuttle from their MIA airport location over to the cruise port? Their customer service people were pretty clueless, and claimed that they would pick you UP at the cruise port, but would NOT provide any transport TO the port.

 

Anyone have any experience with Thrifty?

 

By the way, they are offering $12/day for our 4-day rental in August....!!

I used the Thrifty shuttle both to the port from the 'off airport' location and to the airport location from the pier in March of 2006. I don't know if they still offer it but it worked great then.

 

I also joined the 'Blue chip' program with Thrifty which meant I got to wait in the express line to pick up a car.

We used Thrifty's MIA airport location in Jan 08... they both picked up and dropped off at POM. They share the location/shuttles with Dollar. Unless things have changed since then...
