Jade restaurants

Does anyone know how much is the cover charge for the 'pay' restaurants aboard the Jade? How far in advance can you make your reservations for them? How much do they charge per person per day for the gratuities that's automatically deducted from your onboard account? Do they still have the chocolate buffet or is NCL not doing this anymore? Thanks.:)

See if I can remember all the questions. The restaurants that have a surcharge have different surcharges. For instance, Cagneys, I believe is $25.00, others are less. Dayum, senior moment...forgot the other questions!

Oh yeah, you make reservations for the specialty Restaurants 24 hours ahead. The Automatic Service Charge is $10.00 per day per person. Not sure about the chocolate buffet but believe it is like the last day in the afternoon.

The buffet is around midnight -free- set alarm- to wake up refreshed. The other restaurants 24 hrs works except formal nights- if you have special events birthdays etc they can be booked ahead . The key is not the restraurant but how the other people select. 25$ might include lobster- and steak. There is a place you can check what the menus are. Favorites are Presidents night- no extra amont- don't be afraid of sharing a table- just remember if a person is rude it might be their nature or they might have had a bad day.

Cover charges have been changed since we sailed in March - but if I recall correctly. Cagney's & Teppenyaki $25.00 pp - Papas Kitchen $10.00 pp

Paniolo (Tex Mex) $10.00 pp (this was free and may have reverted to free) LeBistro was $15 - could be $20 now. Asian, Shabu Shabu, sushi bar $15.00 pp. Gratuities were not deducted automatically in the restaurants. If you wish to tip your waitstaff you add it onto the bill total which is charged to your room. That is, if you want to tip over and above the mandatory $10. per day per adult (I think children are less per day)

Chocolate buffet was second last evening at 10:00 pm - but with the last show being at 9:30pm it was well under way when the show in the theather was over, so they may have changed the timing. Should be advertised in the Daily - if you don't see it ask at the buffet stations - they will know when it is as that is where it was served.
