when will the ships go back to labadee?

Recommended Posts

I am just curious if the ships are stopping in labadee yet. I understand it is a safety issue and I feel terrible that there is such political unrest there. I was just wondering if anyone knew b/c i am thinking of booking for the fall and noticed the itineraries still include it.

Given there is an active and recent US government travel advisory against Haiti travel I think it will be a very long time before RCCL calls there again, unfortunately.

"The security situation in Haiti remains dangerous and unpredictable, despite progress on a peaceful political process and the presence of foreign security forces operating under a United Nations mandate. U.S. citizens are warned to defer travel to Haiti until the situation stabilizes."

I just wish I had an idea of where we will be headed on 7/18/04 Western Mariner. I would like to make some plans.

The Mariner for April is substituting Coco Cay. Considering they brought in extra chairs, etc to accomodate the Voyager class ships, and since they've already worked out a schedule to fit the Mariner and Navigator (? don't remember the other Voyager Class) I'd think (HOPE :-)) they'd keep in Coco Cay until Labadee resumes.
