We have a group of 7 and looking for cheap transfer options from Whittier to Anchorage post-cruise. Also, we have a late (10pm) flight out of Anchorage so we need ways to kill time in Anchorage. What should we do for the day and what do we do with our luggage?

You leave too early for the Alaska RR which is a shame, since that would have allowed you the option for Prince William Sound. There are some independent transfer options, listed http://www.anchorage.net some include tours.

Or there is the ship contracted buses, which would take you to the Egan Center, store your bags and offers airport transfer.

Plenty to do in downtown Anchorage. Request their visitor guide.

I just booked a motorcoach transfer from whittier to anchorage. It departs from Whittier at 9:45 with Alaska Tour and Travel. We are staying two extra days in anchorage post cruise. Some things to see and do: Alaska Experience Theatre, Alaska native Heritage Center, Anchorage downtown...hope this helps.
