Miracle Family Cruise wrapup

Woke up on the sea day and went to breakfast. the got everyone together for the on deck fo rthe cure. seemed to be about 80 people by my rough counting was hoping to see more. I feel that they could do more to advertise this on the ship there was one flier put in the capers early in the week and then its in the capers for this day but honestly a few announcements here and there would certainly get a few more people and would cost them nothing. Its a great cause that I am sure more people would contribute to had they known. did the walk had a good time Lorna made funny faces at ferncrest :D . went on the galley tour after I always try to hit theese simply because im in the food and Beverage industry. it was cool and informative as always. we grabbed a quick lido lunch and headed to the kids pool so DD could get some swim time. this basically brought us to dinner by the time she was done.

 

At formal night again I forget if i had the Cahteubriand this night or the last night but either way both were very nice the other night i had more prime rib!!. after dinner we went and got comfortable again and headed to the show DD was asleep but we didnt want to miss it since we had heard such good things about ticket to ride. Honestly it was slow to start and DW was considering walking out but I said lets give it a few more minutes. It certainly picked up about half way through and was enjoyable. DW and DD crashed afterward and i went back to casino for abit then onto the photo session of the gala buffet which looked amazing as always. after getting some photos that I hop eto put in here at some point I headed to the Late night comedy of Marvin Belle, whom was the highlight of the otherwise drab night before" guest talent show". Nothing against the performers they sounded nice but it really just seemed like karaoke on stage. Marvie belle however was funny both nights and was highly enjoyable.

 

Our last seas day started with a final room service breakfast on our balcony. the day consisted mainly of checking out photos and reluctantly packing and catching some last sun or hot tubbing up on deck. the carnival legends show was very cool. we thought Madonna rocked!!!!!!

of course we were a little biased since she was my friends wife but she did great we were all proud.

 

So overall grades

 

Room/Balcony: A+++++

we simply loved this room great location and a HUGE balcony

 

Room Steward: A

Widodo had everything and order and was always asking if we needed anything he even brought back one of DDs sandals that had gotten collected with the towels by mistake!

 

Dining Room: B

Honestly I did not feel it was a gguady as everyone made it sound and with such great freinds and family and an awesome wait team who looked at the walls anyway.

 

DR Food: A-

everything was good tho it all seemed to familiar and a few times DW had a tough time finding something she really wanted

 

Dining Room Service :A+++

we love Tranquilino and Raymundo, sorry for most of you will not have the pleasure of Raymundo since he is leaving after the sailing that left when we got back but he deserves the break and we wish him well. If any of you are lucky enough to have tranquilino tell him Tony Carolyn and Lorna say hi!!! Karel our DR bar waiter was nice and effecient and we were never waiting long for drinks

 

Maitre'd Suresh :B

everything went well in the DR and he did quickly politley and efficeintly handle the problem with our seating but we never saw him at any tables i swear there was impressions of his shoes in the little stand cuz he never seemd to move

 

Lido food: B+

what can I say it was good buffet food nothing blew me away but the Pizza was laways good

 

Entertainment : B

The shows were very good and the comedian and singer were very good. Like i said before the Guest Talent show seemed like it might as well have been part of the Legends show. I really wish the Village Idiots weren't on the night we were in San Juan since we missed them and it made NO sense to have them on when most people would want to be in port since we didnt get there till 3pm

 

Cruise Staff : A

I struggled with this grade since they lost control of debarkation but otherwise it was an fun filled and entertaining cruise. ACD josh " Big Sexy" seemd ready to be a CD I would certainly support a prpomotion for him. CD brent Mitchell was entertaining and all but Big Sexy just shined in our eyes.

Love the Miracle already booked atleast once more :D . really enjoyed the layout and decor almost everywhere it was never hard to find what we were looking for wether it be some fun activities or a place to relax
