cruisinTrish Posted April 6, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2004 I will be on the Legend of the seas 4/27 departing from Ensanada & 5/7 returning to Ensenada. Could anyone tell me the time of the muster drill & formal nights on these cruises? Also, first time in Hawaii so any other tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much! Desertbelle Posted April 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2004 On our December cruise we didn't leave Ensenada until close to 10 pm, so they moved the muster to the following morning. PhoenixCruiser Posted April 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Trish, I've read great reviews of the book "Hawaii for Dummies". It's available at Amazon.com for about $14.00. Desertbelle Posted April 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Hawaii for Dummies is a great book, I highly recommend it. Formal nights, 2 of them, were the first full night at sea and the last night before arriving in Hawaii. The rest of the nights were Hawaiian casual. It was a wonderful cruise, you are going to love it!! Margie Celebrating Our Parents 60th Anniversary - Legend of the Seas to Mexico 9/5/04!! There were 2 formal and 2 Smart Casual. the rest of the nights were casual/Hawaiian.
cruisinTrish Posted April 7, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Thanks Ohunion Cruzer for taking the time to answer. It helps to plan times for meeting fellow cruisers if you know when the muster and formal nights are.Hopefully some of the cruisers from the return trip will answer regarding the cruise ending in Ensenada. dege Posted April 11, 2004 #10 Share Posted April 11, 2004 We cruised the Legend last April from Ensenada to Hawaii. We had a great time and considered it one of our best cruises. In fact, we liked it so much we've booked it again for this November. We didn't do any of the tours as we've been to Hawaii before, but we did rent cars in every port which was very easy and pretty inexpensive. If you have any specific questions about the ship or ports, I might be able to help.
