Just returned from our first Silversea cruise Monte Carlo - Venice on the Cloud

We had a wonderful time,Everything that people said about Silversea was correct

so much so we have booked for next year New York back to New York, We are going to spend a couple of days in New York, Can anybody recommend a hotel that is not to far from the cruise terminal that Silversea will be using

I am a many time NYC visitor, 4 trips last year and I would never consider staying in the dock area. Less than ideal lodging area. Are you planning any other activities?? I would assume with staying several days you would be? If you only need one bed Priceline can offer excellent bargains in the midtown e and w locations. Determine what you want to do and stay in that area- especially if you are looking at theater.

Ditto the Priceline idea. We've stayed at the Hilton on Sixth Avenue many times, generally for less than $100 on Priceline (Midtown West 4-star). It's a short cab ride from the cruise terminal.

We are sailing on the QM2 later this year, and we are spending one pre-cruise evening at the W Hotel - Tuscany. This hotel is on East 39th between Lexington and Park Avenue.
