What time are we suppose to be at the pier to get back on the ship. In Bar Harbor the departure time is 6:00 PM. Thanks for any response.

This information should be contained in the Patters for the day, which you will receive the night before. :)

The above posters are correct that the Patter will give you the info you need, but generally, the last tender leaves shore an hour before ship departure. This allows time for the tenders to be hoisted back on the ship, which is something interesting to watch if you are into that sort of technical thing. Make sure you get to the tender pier in enough time for a longer line-up so they don't get in a situation where they have to send another tender back for extra people and putting the ship behind schedule.

I agree with the others in that the Patter will have the information. However, and this is usually the case, the LAST tender leaves shore an hour before sailing so make sure you plan on being on the dock an hour and a half before sailing, just in case you are delayed getting back on time.

Some would say they luck out by getting to tender into a port. You can walk off the ship in some remote area, wait for and pay for a taxi to where everything is, or take a boat from the ship and get dropped in the middle of it all. Not many ports are as convenient as Key West for example. I never got the chance to go to St Maarten before the pier was built (even though we were supposed to be there twice but couldn't because of hurricanes), but I can't imagine the tender port was in any worse of a location than where the ships dock now.
