Train from Civitavecchia to Genoa - See Much?

Hi there, we're actually taking the train to Monaco, but we change trains in Genoa. The route looks to be along the coast from Civitavecchia. Has anyone done this? do you see much of the coast line? Tx

Long trip, but, yes, you'll see the Med. Sea from time to time. After they announce the station of Viareggio (if it stops there) start looking landside (right side of the train) and you should see some of the Apuans - the white marble mountains - and no, the white stuff isn't snow - marble quarries.

:) Too funny, yes, I know it's not snow...do people really think that? We've done the drive from Nice to Asciano before. Except for the millions of tunnels, it was a great drive, and of course we stopped off in Lucca :)
