Take own wine to dinner?

We will be on the DBV-VCE 9/21 Wind Surf cruise. We'd like to purchase some wines of Croatia and bring them to dinner on board the ship. Has anyone done this?

We did this on previous Wind Surf cruises, and will probably do it on the 9/14/and 9/21 cruises to Croatia. You can take wine on board for drinking in your room, or pay a $15 corkage fee if you have it in the dining room.

I would recommend taking your own wine (which they allow on board). On the past two cruises we noticed a lot of the popular wines on the menu are out so having you own wine ensures you will get what you want and the $15 is reasonable in my opinion.
