kimmiekaz Posted August 27, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2008 Tell us what you think about the latest neighborhoods on Oasis of the Seas that were revealed just minutes ago. The Asian-inspired spa, the beach pool and sports zone with two FlowRiders and an adults-only solarium (my favorite!). What did you like the best about what you've just learned? Mysticks1 Posted August 27, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I really like the solarium on the bow - the model showed it to have wonderful views. I will be interested to see all of the features that will be offered there. I also liked the new zip line.
Laurie12820 Posted August 27, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I'm loving the 2 level solarium. I could see myself spending the majority of my sea days there! There will be a bistro in there as well, no need to leave the area!
nklpikl Posted August 27, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2008 I like all that I see, the solarium, the different pools. Especially one just for kids. Zip line, I like it all. I honestly could care less about any of the fitness and spa crud
DEIx15x8 Posted August 27, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 27, 2008 My favorite thing we knew for a while, two flow riders. The much larger mini golf is also great. The beach pool I can't give an opinion on till I know if it has real sand, if it doesn't it's kind of pointless. From a structural stand point the extra weight of the seating levels on the other side will balance the added weight of the sand.
tstobb Posted August 27, 2008 #6 Share Posted August 27, 2008 Big question is will they actually enforce the "adults only" areas on this ship? I have kids so I am not opposed to them(well, now that they are becoming teenagers . . .  ) but I appreciate an area to escape the cannonballs into the hot tubs and have been severely disappointed by RCCL so far in this area. The cantilevered hot tubs on the Freedom were a haven & meeting place for the 12 year olds it seemed and the staff ignored it . . .
captjaneway Posted August 27, 2008 #7 Share Posted August 27, 2008 The Solarium on the bow looks wonderful but I am wondering how windy it will be?
