Golf at Sandy Lane

Has anyone played at Sandy Lane on a Princess excursion? The prices aren't listed (except as "Varies: Seasonal"), so I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the cost of the excursion is/was.

 

It may make more $en$e :) to try to make our own arrangements for Twilight Golf, since we'll be in port until midnight. Any idea what a cab might cost to the resort/back?

 

Am I right in thinking that Princess' description of the excursion would be for the Country Club course?

Probably in poor taste to reply to my own question, but I finally got an email back from the Princess golf specialists.

 

For anyone else who might be interested, the cost for this excursion is $205 through Princess. It's at the Country Club course. It includes the green fees and cart (which are $200, if you reserve with Sandy Lane), transportation from the ship (found it was $22 cab fare each way) and a required caddy (which is $35 plus tip.) So, it seems to save quite a bit to go through Princess for this excursion.

Do they offer any other golf courses? We played SL years ago but while it was under construction we switched to Barbados Golf Club and really, really enjoy it.

Yes, Princess offers golf excursions to both, actually. But, my husband really wants to play at Sandy Lane. :)

 

I believe the newest course is completed, and all the renovations to the resort have finished, as well.
