...some probably asked frequently. One probably a little off the wall.

 

1. How much does a cab usually cost for two ppl. between FLL and POM?

 

2. How long does it take on average?

 

3. Is there usually much of a queue for taxis at that airport?

 

4. If we decide to rent a car instead, are most of the agencies open past midnight?

 

5. Is FLL open 24 hours a day? Our flight won't get in until after midnight if we fly in the night before our cruise, and I'd just soon catch a cat nap in the airport as pay for a night's hotel when we'd only be there for a short night's sleep.

probably about $80-ish and maybe an hour....(you are cruising out of Miami and flying into FLL yes??

 

2. How long does it take on average? oops...an hour

lately airports have been frowning upon people being inside when NOT using the a/p facilitiesmeaning flying....i would NOT suggest this....i know in many other cities security really chases people out..a.nd it causes all sorts of mayhem with the TSA.

You'll definitely get thrown out of the airport.

 

Also, you can still get a good nights sleep in a hotel because the earliest ships embarkation is 2PM. You'll also be a able to shower and maybe catch some time by the pool.
