How far is Caribelle Batik from ship terminal? Anyone know approximate taxi fare?

It is about a 20 min taxi ride one way & is included in almost all island tours offered by tour operators.

These fares are effective as of 01 November 2005. I contacted the Tourism Office and these rates are current, however they are being reviewed as a result of the rising gas prices.

So a Taxi Tour from Frigate Bay/Basseterre to Batik for a maximum of 1.5 hours is $40 USD for 1 to 4 people.

We went there a year ago and found that most of their items are available at the big shop right on the circle downtown. If you are taking a tour you will stop there.
