ACK! Cabin behind the elevators!

Good news, we got an upgrade.... bad news, (maybe), our cabin is right behind the elevator. Anyone ever had one of these cabins and is it noisy? Can you hear the elevators? Just wondering!

We are in cabin E127 according to the bookmodify thing at Carnival. We will have a blast anyway, we are so looking forward to this cruise! A noisy day at sea is still better than a quiet day at home! :-)

Hmm. I just posted a reply and it went 'poof'!

 

Anyway, there was a thread on here yesterday about this. Check on page 2 or 3. I had cabin U74 on the Holiday a few years ago, and it backed up to the elevator. Bed was against that wall......BUT NO NOISE from the elevator the entire cruise. And, very nice having to walk only about four steps to get to the elevator.:)
