Sorry to butt into your conversation but I'm shocked. The maitre d' seated you all by yourself? Did you request to be seated at a table for 2 or did you ask for a large table?

 

Me too - :eek: never heard or seen anyone sitting alone in a HAL dining room. It's no way to spend a cruise.

 

You mention having worked for a cruise line so wonder why you didn't talk to the maitre d' -

Rather talone, than a table full of happy couples....sigh...

Hey! no probs..I have learned something...be more aggressive! Make myself talk to people first instead of feeling shy.

I intend to totally change my outlook on the next cruise! Can't wait!

AND I will ensure I have dinner at a large table with singles maybe??
