Veendam deck plan Q

Tell me please, experienced cruisers::D

What is that small space aft of 205 and 220 on the Navigation Deck? Is is a quiet, but still public, space? a place to stand at the rail and gaze at the wake? a place to sit in the sun? a place off-limits to all but the crew?

is it possible to use the stairs there to slip from the Navigation Deck to the Sea View Pool without crossing any public spaces :eek: :eek: ( or at least no public spaces but your own hallway)?

Those cabins are on Verandah Deck.

There are a few lounge chairs there. It is covered -- no sun.

And you can use the stairs to go up to the Navigation Deck to the Sea View Pool.

In general, whenever you see "lined" space (such as the deck you are asking about, or on the Lido deck in front of the Fitness Center, etc) it is accessible to passengers. When you unlabelled white space (such as at the stern of the A and Main decks of the Veendam) it is for crew only. I can find a couple of minor exceptions to this rule, but most of the time it is true.
