Pre cruise Seattle

Has anyone stayed in Seattle pre cruise that offered transportation to the pier?

We went to Alaska at the end of August and stayed and did a 3 day pre-cruise stay at the Silver Cloud Inn - Lake Union. It's about a mile from the Space Needle, but a very nice hotel - modern, clean, large rooms, excellent service, and good breakfast. They have a complimentary shuttle to tourist sites in Seattle leaving every half hour from the hotel. They will pick you up at a designated time or you can call when you're ready to go back. The night before we left, we inquired at the front desk and found out that we could get a complimentary ride to the pier with a reservation. We got a ride that was a little earlier than we originally planned, but it worked out perfectly as we were able to board the ship (Norwegian Star) right away. We would highly recommend staying here. Though we weren't right in the middle of the action, we don't feel that we missed anything.
