Just back from our frist cruise ever - on the Star!

We loved it! I will be posting a review in a day or two, but wanted to thank everyone here for all of their thoughts, opinions, and advice! NCL was great as was the Star. We loved our first cruise and are already taking about taking another to Alaska.

 

The Star was a lovely ship and we never once felt like we were traveling with 2000+ people. The food was good, some much better than others, but overall good. Most of the service was good as well! Our cabin stewards were awesome as were the waiters by the pool. The people working in the specialty restaurants were also lovely, but the service in Versaille and Aqua was not all that great.

 

Overall, the Star is really great and we will probably take her to Alaska!

I am so happy you loved your cruise. We were on the Star in January and love her too. I'm sure a cruise to Alaska on her would be awesome. Looking forward to your review.

We have been on the Star both for Mexcian Riviera and Alaska and I can tell you we loved both of the cruises. There is something special about the Star to us, it is simply our favorite ship.
