My oldest daughter's birthstone is emerald. She's only 10 but really loves jewelry. I wouldn't mind picking her up a nice ring or necklace while in Cartegena but don't want to spend a lot of money (mainly because I would be getting her a 'style' of a ring or a necklace that she would eventually outgrow).

 

I have NO IDEA of even a price range to purchase a ring for her. I've looked at Mr. Emerald's site but he gives no prices (although his items look beautiful).

 

Can any of you jewelry lovers out there give me a ballpark estimage on a child's ring with a smallish emerald or a necklace with a smallish emerald. Not an emerald 'chip' but not the size of one that would be gawdy on a 10 yr old.
