Is the "search" ever up?

Lately, I've tried to use the search feature, but get the message that it is temporarily down. Is it just my bad timing, or has it been down for a while now? Thanks.

I just use google...type "cruise critic ????". Works fine & is fast.

It works for me if I use "search this forum"

If you are looking for something on CC and the lame search function here is inoperable (as usual) - go to google.com - and put in the search term you are looking for such as "cruising with children" and ADD into the search term "cruise critic" or site:cruisecritic.com.

 

Google will limit the searches to the CC site and help refine your search even more. Hope this helps.

The "advanced" search function is disabled. I would estimate that the Search This Forum function works 80% of the time.

 

Great suggestion re: google.
