Dumb question - D9 w/o Transmitter

We just got our docs for our December Navigator cruise, even though I already have our diving trip planned I was looking through the options for the MIL.

I came across two odd ones listed under cruising that I just can't figure out:

 

ZZL2- Micromask

Price: Adult$100/Child$100 USD

Duration: At your leisure

 

ZZ04- D9 W/O Transmitter Upgrade

Price Adult$1250/Child$1250 USD :eek:

Duration: At your leisure

 

Does anyone have a clue as to what these are?

The D9 is a diving computer (with or without a transmitter). (for scuba) Not sure why it would be listed in excursions though.

I suspect the micromask is also scuba related.

That explains it- they are offering the PADI cert on board.

Does it make any sense to buy a computer without the transmitter? I really like the Oceanic Atom 2, but I don't know if I can stomach the whole purchase all at once. I am but a student, and I do not make any sorts of amount of money.
