Atlantis Sub, then Chankanaab Park - Will this work?

We are scheduled to be in port at 10:00. If we book directly with Atlantis, would we have enough time to make the 11:00 tour, or should we look at the 12 noon one? Is it difficult to find a taxi at the dock to take us there?

 

From Atlantis, will we be able to find a taxi to take us to Chankanaab Park?

Cabs on Cozumel are super easy to find. They are constantly going up and down the main road along the coast. The trip to Chankanaab is also a fairly standard fare. No worries.

It has been said that there are more taxis in Cozumel than there are grains of sand on the beaches there. Yes, that is an exageration, but you get the idea.

 

Three tips:

 

Agree on the fare before you get in the taxi.

 

Bring small denomination $ so you can make exact change.

 

Tipping is not customary, but you certainly can if you wish to do so.
