Earliest Departure from LGA

We are taking the Caribbean Princess and plan on walking off the ship with our luggage on the morning of departure. We plan on having a company come to pick us up and take us to the airport. Do you think we could make an 11:30 a.m. flight out of LGA?

At a MINIMUM, I would allow about 45 minutes to disembark (clear customs and immigration and find your driver), a 1-hour ride to LGA (weekend-from the west side?), 1 1/2 hrs early to airport for check-in. That's about a 3-1/2 hours. So I would want to be walking off the ship no later than 8:00 AM for an 11:30 am flight. And that is if every thing goes perfectly. Personally, it would be more comforting to allow another hour to breathe safely so as to not tap your foot so much while waiting in line to get off the ship and urging the driver to move faster.

 

Hope this helps and every thing goes as planned for you. If you can't get off the ship before 8AM, you might want to reschedule. Don’t forget to allow at least a half hour to hour after the ship's arrival to get the "all clear" before anyone can leave.
