Bigrigg Posted November 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 20, 2008 anyone know if there would be enough time to take a trip to the distillery in the afternoon? I have a morning snorkel trip booked. OR possibly another gd activity for the afternoon. thanks
cruiseapril Posted November 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2008 What time does your ship sail from Curacao? The liqueur factory- Chobolobo- is not too far from Willemstad.
davidnsteph Posted November 20, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2008 The distillery where the original Curacao Liqueur is made (Landhuis Chobolobo) is included in several sightseeing tours available through the cruise lines. We toured it on a general island tour from the Ocean Princess in 2000. DavidnSteph
cruiseapril Posted November 21, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2008 We also visited the Chobolobo Liqueur Factory on a Princess cruise tour a few years ago. The tour was about 3 hours long- so if a cruiser wants to just see Chobolobo- they can hire a taxi right in front of the pier.
Bigrigg Posted November 24, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted November 24, 2008 I believe my ship sets sail at 5ish. The snorkel tour drops us off at 1 oclock back at the boat. Perhaps I could see if they can drop us at the cholobbo place.
