EastCoastAussie Posted November 21, 2008 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2008 Hi All, New cruiser here and an Aussie. You can imagine with our exchange rate to US dollar heading to 60c we are figuring out ways to save money...and why not! We are heading our on the Rhapsody of the Seas in January (first time and cannot wait). Has anyone ever taken there own canned of bottled Soda (soft-drink) on board? Thanks!! honeywell Posted November 21, 2008 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2008 Of course! As long as it isn't an alcoholic beverage you are allowed to take it on board. You can put it in a suitcase or just tape a few cases together - what ever works for you. Have a great time!!!
cb at sea Posted November 21, 2008 #3 Share Posted November 21, 2008 Yes, you can bring your own. If you choose to buy soda onboard, it runs about $2 per can (give or take a few cents). That works fine, if you are only an occassional soda drinker.
music Posted November 21, 2008 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2008 We brought 2 12 pks on our last cruise, they did open one of the pkgs to make sure we were not smuggling. We put them in a rolling bag and did not lock it.
ilovemyemt Posted March 20, 2009 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2009 oh thank goodness, my husband drinks water but I am a soda fan and we were wondering how much that was going to run us. Thanks for the information everyone!
