Rare Keith1010 Posted December 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2008 I know that visas are not required when transiting from Turkey. I also know that when you fly to Turkey that you can obtain a visa at the Turkish airport. Question. For those disembarking the cruise ship in Istanbul, does Seabourn arrange for the visas for the passengers. Does anyone who has taken a Seabourn Cruise and disembarked in Turkey know how Seabourn handled this? Keith

Keith Seabourn does handle visas for disembarking guests and they are expensive, because they say they need an immigration official on board. Some passengers managed to get the visas at a previous Turkish port. Rare Keith1010 Posted December 4, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Thank you very much. Our last few times we have transited through Turkey and our first time there we actually disembarked there on a different cruise line who obtained the visa for us so I'm glad to hear that is what Seabourn does.
